Corpse Reviver No. 2


Simon Ford demonstrates one of my favorite cocktails, for brunch or otherwise.

Corpse Reviver No. 2

0.75 oz Gin
0.75 oz Lillet Blanc
0.75 oz Cointreau
0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
Absinthe.

Rinse chilled cocktail glass with absinthe. Combine gin, Lillet, Cointreau & lemon juice in an ice filled shaker and shake it hard enough to wake the dead. Strain and serve.

  1. When made with Cocci Americano substituted for the Lillet this is a wonderful cocktail, but with the Lillet, it loses something and does not do much for me.
