Samples, Reviews & Full Disclosure

If you’re interested in sending me a sample to review, please contact me at the email address listed above. I will happily review any products I receive, though the outcome of the review will depend on the quality of your product. If you are willing to submit spirits for review, please note that 750 mL bottles are preferred as they allow adequate testing of different cocktail recipes. After all, this is a cocktail blog.

Per Federal Trade Commission guidelines, from October 5, 2009 onwards, all reviews and posts about products that were given to me as free samples will include a disclaimer stating as such. I expect, as of December 1, 2009, anyone offering me samples for review will likewise follow FTC guidelines for compliance of disclosure.

  1. Hey Matt, I just added you to my blogroll, your post about discovering gin and martinis generated an automatic link back to Ethical Martini.
I’ll have to educate you though about the proportions. 50/50 is way OTT for a true martini fan.

  2. I’m not hard and fast with it. Honestly the Hoffman House Cocktail, which is 2:1 with orange bitters is what lead me to the 50/50. At that point, I figured why not go all in. Of course the next step will be the Reverse Martini: 1:2 gin to vermouth!

  3. Hey Matt,

Lookign for a way to get in touch with you via email. can you please send me your email addres??

    Thanks!
